It has happened to me several times that an acquaintance, an apparently ordinary person has a special talent, an intriguing past, or a story that gives an insight into what the person really is, not what you think it is. I find these moments truly especial, not only because of what you learn about the person, but also because they remind me that my assumptions on other people are not always accurate, and that an ordinary person can be really special.
