It is like winning a small sum in the lottery. You get the sense of saving tons of money, even if it is just a dollar, and that sense of "I'm getting the product at the right price".

It describes perfectly those people who they say they are friends but are toxic to you, those who boycott and put you down each time they need. Despite the meaning being negative, the word describes a type of relationship in a playful and cool way. One of those words that are part of our time and culture .

It is very hard to accept change in life, whatever that is. Changing is always unsettling. Accepting change is like unwinding your soul, learning to move with the flow, appreciating life for what it is, learning to put patches where needed.

Most hotels are very similar, standard and impersonal, unless you pay for a luxury boutique hotel. An apartment hotel suits me better because it makes me feel at home while away from home. It allows me to have lots of space, to cook some meals and save a lot of money in restaurants, and to have some entertainment for free if I don't want to go out at night. Moreover, they are as affordable as a hotel room.
It is that look of pure envy -positive or negative- that some women exhibit when they see my super-duper handbag. I feel very proud, empowered, feeling that I'm the queen of the universe. I especially enjoy "that look" from bitches and from "frenemies" as their microsecond on my bag makes me a winner. Wearing a super-duper bag and getting "that look" is very rewarding and worth all the saving! :D
I love when I don't post in my blogs and one of those usually silent readers knocks on my door saying that he/she misses my posts or asking if I'm OK. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that somebody out there cares. It pays off the time I devote to blogging and reminds me that there are wonderful people out there.
(Thanks Laura!)
